Dard Hunter Studios is producing this new line of fine china. The unique shape of the teacup was inspired by similar pieces purchased by Dard Hunter in 1908 while on his honeymoon in Vienna. dard Hunter Studios has gone to great lengths to develop the line of china with careful attention to these antique pieces while incorporating an original design by Hunter for the pendant ornamentation. This design, drawn by Hunter for an advertising brochure while employed at the Roycroft Studios, is an elegant and streamlined motif influenced by his time in Vienna during the early 1900’s. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Five piece place setting includes (one each) cup and saucer with spoon, dinner plate, salad plate, and rim soup/pasta bowl. Individual pieces also available. |
