And like those famous couture design houses, which have continued to flourish through the decades, Fredrick Ramond still maintains a leadership position in lighting design.
Staying on top of a factory that manufactures lamps, chandeliers, sconces, furniture and accessories from raw materials, is not an easy task. All of their sheet metal processes, tube fabrication, welding and metal finishing are performed on premises – nothing goes out to a jobber. Much of the work is still done by hand – which allows flexibility to manufacture a wide variety of products using steel, brass and stainless steel. Having a machine shop on the premises is also an advantage that has no parallel. It allows Fredrick Ramond to create their own tooling and even incorporate a computer-guided laser cutter to give added flexibility.

Because of their excellent craftsmanship, customer demand is high. Therefore, Fredrick Ramond completes all finishing on premises, by using a powder-coating process for all painted finishes.
Fredrick Ramond Lighting is distinguished by excellent design and quality; that stands out from the off shore merchandise. The original “Fredrick Ramond” slogan of the l960’s – “setting new standards for quality and design” – holds true today.
